Monday Morning Prayer: Choosing Joy, Even Here

A Thought Don’t wait for better days to live in the joy of life. I’ve noticed this pattern in myself, always striving, always looking to the future, and in doing so, I often miss the beauty of now. After the passing of someone I knew, I found myself wondering: Was their life lived with some measure of joy? It made me pause and reflect. Life is happening right now—in the journey, in the process. And that is the joy.

Walk with Him. Walk in the joy of the everyday. Joy isn’t a destination or a target we chase; it’s a way of life we choose right where we are, even in hard seasons.  Joy may not always be present, but it will always be accessible to you. Some seasons that joy feels far-reaching,  but God is there in the midst of it all. A Scripture "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

A Prayer Lord, in this place hold me. Carry me and teach me to choose joy,
