A Thought
Is it not interesting that God uses flawed people to bring about his will and purposes? Think about a scenario in your life where God has allowed a flawed person to stay in a position when you could easily see or even choose a better man or woman to fill that spot. Be it a parent, a boss, a pastor, and let's not mention a politician - they are perfect. Now, look at you and really think about everything you have that you think you deserve, and that which you don't. Remember what you are capable of, your flaws and shortcomings, yet God still allowed you to inhabit those spaces in life. What a grace, a mercy, a gift. It is not our place to judge why people are the way they are - although we do; we certainly cannot fix them, let alone ourselves, yet as we are, God uses us flaws and all. We are like a beautiful glass, even though you are aware of how easily it could break if it were dropped, you still use it; WHY?
A Scripture
But we have this precious treasure [the good news about salvation] in [unworthy] earthen vessels [of human frailty], so that the grandeur and surpassing greatness of the power will be [shown to be] from God [His sufficiency] and not from ourselves.
-2 Corinthians 4:7 (AMP)
A Prayer
Lord,
use me broken, use me fail, use me unworthy,
use me sinful,
use me as I am,
cracked and all.
In Jesus’ name. Amen
See you next week, Monday…
Until then be KIND
