A Thought
Have you ever walked the same path and discovered something new along the way, even though it felt so familiar? Have you ever driven on a road and noticed something you had missed, despite traveling that road countless times?
I think that sometimes, in the rushing busyness of life, it is so easy to overlook little gems that carry hope, strength, and beauty. Next time, perhaps you could take a moment to pause, just for a bit, look around, and see if you can find something you’ve never noticed before. It may be odd, it may be unusual, it may seem out of place, but it is there, waiting to be found.
In rushing through life, it is so easy to miss beauty. The reality is that beauty surrounds us, it lies hidden in plain sight. Yet, as we hurry toward our goals, ambitions, deadlines, and tasks, we miss it. And in those odd moments when someone asks, “Did something beautiful happen in your day?” you may say no, not because it wasn’t there, but because you missed it in your rush.
Next time, slow down.
A Scripture
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not [a]want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
-Psalm 23:1-3 (NKJV)
A Prayer
Lord, may I never miss you and all that you have for me to inhabit. In Jesus’ name. Amen
See you next week, Monday…
Until then, be KIND.
