Monday Morning Prayer: Stop hiding

A Thought 

Maybe the crazy life that you're living right now is a life that you are staying in, not because you want to stay in it, but out of fear. Adam and Eve did the exact same thing after they sinned. They hid from God, and the interesting thing is that even when they hid, God already knew what they had done. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool [afternoon breeze] of the day, so the man and his wife hid and kept themselves hidden from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. - Genesis 3: 8 (AMP)

It is only God who has the power, the love, the grace, and the mercy to cover us, but he will not do that by forcing it upon us. We have the choice to come out of hiding and walk to him, and he will give us the best version of covering that we could get.

When Adam and Eve sinned, they used the leaves to cover themselves. God used animal skin to cover them. The thing that they used to cover themselves was not sufficient to cover that very body, created by God. What God had to do was he had to kill an animal and use its skin to cover his people; a sacrifice had to be made. The Lord God made tunics of [animal] skins for Adam and his wife and clothed them. - Genesis 3: 21

Think are you perhaps hiding in your life, and you are using leaves to cover yourself? Why are you so afraid to go to God about this?

A Prayer 

Lord, help me out and cover me. In Jesus’ name. Amen
